Eller How House Details about the Accomodation
There is a large entrance hall with hooks for coats and space for boots and shoes. The hall floor is tiled and has a coconut mat so no problems about muddy feet. There is a table and a couple of spare dining chairs along with an umbrella stand and large basket for outdoor games.
Leading off the entrance hall and with a large table and chairs, it overlooks the garden with a fully equipped kitchen having an electric cooker and hob, extractor fan, fridge, dishwasher and double sink with drainer. There is also a micowave, toaster, kettle and plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans and oven dishes.
The utility room behind the kitchen has a sink and drainer, a washer/dryer, two drying racks, a second fridge and a freezer, a steam iron and ironing board, a vacuum cleaner and cleaning products. This is where the recycling boxes are kept too. We have a highchair available for you to use.
There are two double bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor.
Bedroom One has a double bed and ensuite shower room with lavatory and basin.
Bedroom Two can be set up as either twin beds or as a super King size bed. There is an ensuite shower room with basin and lavatory. This bedroom has a dual aspect with views up to the fell side.
BedroomThree is on the first floor and has a King sized bed which faces the balcony with its view across our lake. The ceiling is 'held up' by a collection of unusual heads and there is plenty of light with windows on three sides. There is an ensuite bathroom with large Victorian roll-topped bath, basin and lavatory.
All the bedrooms have wardrobes or hanging space, chests of drawers and bed-side tables with lamps. The linen is crisp, white cotton and there are plenty of fluffy white towels. The cost of linen and towels is included in the price.
The first floor sitting room is entered from the spacious landing via double doors. The ceiling is high and there are large windows with views across the gardens to the lake. There is fine plasterwork and a is a splendid open fireplace to burn a log fire. There are two very comfortable sofas and a couple of armchairs and a stool as well as occasional tables, a TV with DVD player and two bookcases full of all sorts of books. There is a cupboard stocked with games and jigsaws and plenty of information on attractions in the area as well as an OS map and books of local walks.
You are welcome to bring up to three well behaved dogs over a year old. Dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms or on the furniture and on departure there must not be evidence of dogs having stayed at the property. Please do not leave your pet(s) alone in the property and do speak to us if you wish to bring an extra dog as in some circumstances this may be possible.
There is no smoking anywhere on the property.
